To lower the energy costs in Kiest’s 32 facilities, Sunsprint Engineering installed a 90.1 kW Photovoltaic System powered by 324 solar panels.
In 1876, Kiest Park was established on just 10 acres of land. Today, it has grown into the Kiest Recreation Center, offering top-tier recreational services to Dallas residents across its 32 facilities. These facilities demand a 24/7 electrical supply. Leveraging renewable energy seemed to be the most cost-effective and sustainable way to fulfill this demand. This led to Kiest Recreation Center partnering with Sunsprint Engineering to install Solar Photovoltaic Systems that would overcome the power deficiency and provide supplemental energy.
Sunsprint Engineering had a 90.1 kW Photovoltaic System, comprising 324 solar panels, installed on the center's roof. This PV system directly connects to the transmission grid via an AC system, eliminating the need for a generator or battery backup. This was done to avoid additional energy consumption required for battery charging. As a result, the system efficiently delivers 50% of the center's backup energy, with the remaining portion sourced from the transmission grid.
At Sunsprint Engineering, we’re pioneering the future of solar technology, driven by advanced solar panels and innovative green energy products. Our power plants are customer-specific and made to fit your unique application requirements.
